Eagle Point man dies in Highway 140 motorcycle crash in Jackson County

A 54-year-old Eagle Point man died Saturday after a motorcycle crash on Highway 140 in Jackson County, according to Oregon State Police.

Troopers said Brian Jay Moore was riding west near milepost 6 when the motorcycle left the roadway and struck a guardrail. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

OSP said witnesses reported the motorcycle was being ridden at high speed immediately before the crash. The agency did not say whether any other vehicles were involved.
