Vancouver police seek driver after pedestrian hit on Highway 99

Vancouver police are searching for a driver after a pedestrian was hit on Northeast Highway 99 on Wednesday night and the driver left the scene, according to police.

The crash happened in the 5700 block of Northeast Highway 99 at about 10 p.m., police said. The pedestrian was crossing where there was no crosswalk. The person was taken to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
