Portland police say a man shot in the Hazelwood neighborhood on March 9, 2026, later died from his injuries. The Portland Police Bureau identified him as Nicholas A. Teegarden, 40, of Portland, and said he died on March 17. The Medical Examiner ruled the death a homicide by gunshot wound.
