In a startling incident that underscores the dangers of impaired driving, a DUII driver crashed into Lock & Key Adventurer’s Guild in Lincoln City, causing significant damage to the property. The event unfolded after Lincoln City Police Officers were called to Chinook Winds Casino due to a dispute, only to be alerted to a related crash nearby.

Incident Details

On Sunday, April 7, 2024, at around 2:00 AM, Lincoln City Police were initially called to address a physical altercation at Chinook Winds Casino. Shortly after, they were notified of a red pickup truck that had collided with the Lock & Key Adventurer’s Guild on NE Highway 101, then fleeing the scene. The vehicle, showing front-end damage, was located near NE 31st St. and NE Holmes Rd. The driver, identified as 27-year-old Shailin Moses, and her passenger, 24-year-old Mary Sanders, were found intoxicated and were arrested.

Sanders was also arrested for Child Neglect in the Second Degree. Both were lodged in Lincoln County Jail.

Legal Implications
